Spring Tide

Part of the Mistletoe bay camp activities this was the second activity. For this activity we had to choose a scientific word about tides and then we had to find out what the tide was and write about it and then we had to put why it was related to Mistletoe bay and then last we had to put the WALT and a picture. I quite liked this activity because I got to find out about this type of tide because i had never heard of it. And that is what I did for this activity.

  5. Hi Aoife

How are you doing? Hope you are keeping busy at your home during the Level 4 lockdown.
I really enjoyed reading your work all about Spring tides. It was a very good DLO that you have made.
Grey Main is very lucky to be able to go on camp to Mistletoe Bay! It is a very beautiful part of the New Zealand!
Tell me what your favourite activity was on camp? What is the one thing that you enjoyed the most?
I am looking forward to reading more of your work over the next few weeks!
Make sure you check out the Totara site for some fun activities! I like the look of the recipe for the biscuits! I might try these myself!

    Talk again soon!

  7. Wow Aoife,

Seven comments! I think this is the most popular blog post I have seen! (and I have seen A LOT of blogs recently!). Bet you are wishing you had put some more punctuation in your writing now. You never used to be afraid of full stops. Why have you decided not to use them anymore?

Hope you and your lovely family (say hi to your mum from me) are all keeping warm and safe during Learning from Home.

    See you soon,
    Mrs Gully
